Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Chapter 7 is a form of debt relief by which you may eliminate most forms of unsecured debt such as credit cards medical bills and personal loans. In most cases, you can keep your home, car and other personal belongings. We may be able to use Chapter 7 to accomplish the following:

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

Chapter 13 is a debt repayment plan through which you consolidate your debts over a three-to-five year period. The creditors cannot collect from you during the term of the plan. Debts that are generally consolidated in a Chapter 13 are mortgage arrears, balances on vehicle loans, student loans, credit card debts and other unsecured debts. Some of the things that can be accomplished through filing under Chapter 13 include:
